IMG_0570cropped.jpgDear Suncreek Family,

As you know, I’ll begin a three month Spiritual Growth Leave starting April 1 for a time of sabbath, renewal, and rest. I’m most grateful for this opportunity.

I have been asked to let you know that I will be receiving a new appointment in the North Texas Conference effective July 1, 2016 and will not be returning to Suncreek. During the past three years, Suncreek has experienced much transition and change. While this is yet another time of change, I am confident that God is able to turn all things to the good for those who love the Lord, and Suncreek will be well led by Rev. Katherine Glaze Lyle, who will serve as the Intentional Interim Pastor at Suncreek until you receive a new senior pastor July 1st.

I want to express my thanks to the many individuals and families who have allowed me to walk alongside them in times of sorrow and celebration, distress and discipleship. Further, I believe that the mission-field is ripe for harvest, and there are many ways Suncreek has, and will continue to be, a beacon of light and love to the community and the world.

Dianne and I look forward to seeing you at a “sendoff reception” on Palm Sunday in Palmer Hall at 10:30am, as well as journeying with you through Holy Week as we prepare to celebrate the blessing of Easter – the life-giving and life-changing grace and love of God through the Risen Christ!

Blessings, Keith

Letters for Pastor Keith
In taking from the tradition of The Walk to Emmaus, one of the neatest experiences of the three-day weekend is receiving letters of encouragement, support, and love from family and friends.  These letters are sometimes called agape letters.  If you’d like to write Pastor Keith a personal message, please drop it in the box located in the Narthex.  The box will be available up until Easter.
